I would piss Dean off every day of our lives if it meant getting this look out of him.

Oh my god.

Lettie colored the picture I drew in the Livestream last night.

My mind is completely blown, how do you do this color magic

Am I the only one who thought Dean was fairly OOC in this episode?

I understand his anger, but I didn’t think he’d just… give up completely. Though I guess it does remind me of his behavior in Point of No Return when he wanted to give up and say yes to Michael. However, that was doing something. Here he just sat down with a beer to watch hentai. I don’t know, but that just doesn’t sound like Dean Winchester.

And then, when Sam went missing, he didn’t really go looking for him, did he? I mean, yes, he was under pressure to help Cas and save the world, but. I don’t know. His whole attitude in that scene just seemed a bit off.

Maybe it’s just me. Long hellatus and all that.

Yes.  This.

Absolutely. They managed to break the show-don’t-tell rule; having him say he was giving up wasn’t good enough. He just looked distant and uncaring, but of course that kind of stance is never absolute - there are always moments of exhaustion or fear or doubt, and we didn’t see flashes of any of that from Dean. His act was one big Kanyeshrug the audience was basically expected to interpret as something we didn’t have the benefit of seeing.
